Pressotherapy

Pressotherapy promotes proper venous circulation, decreasing muscle tension caused by stress or chronic and acute pain. Thanks to its pumping action, it promotes venous return, increasing the circulation of tissues and their consequent correct physiological renewal. It is able to solve the problem of blood that may stagnate in damaged blood vessels or in areas of the body that are not properly supplied with blood.

External compression also allows excess interstitial fluids to return more easily to the circulatory system, so that they can be properly and quickly eliminated.

About Pressotherapy

Pressotherapy is an instrumental physical therapy that, through a controlled system of compression and decompression, exerts a pleasant massage on the limbs and abdomen, acting on the circulatory and lymphatic system. Specifically, pressure therapy reduces swelling, improves lymphatic and venous circulation, prevents fluid stagnation, tones muscles and offers a feeling of lightness and pain relief. It is ideal in the treatment of oedema, lymphoedema, venous ulcers, venous insufficiency, and promotes muscle recovery.
Use the time and pressure values given in the manual, which are based on clinical studies. It is recommended to consult the manual and check contraindications before starting a treatment cycle with sequential compression.
  • Reduces leg swelling due to fluid retention.
  • Relieves leg pain and inflammation caused by lymphoedema.
  • Fosters muscle recovery after intense physical exertion.
  • Helps regain mobility and correct venous and lymphatic circulation.
  • Prevents stagnation of interstitial fluid in leg tissues.

We recommend consulting your doctor/specialist for pathologies not covered in the user manual.

Pressotherapy is effective in treating diseases of the circulatory system by promoting proper venous circulation, decreasing muscle tension and promoting venous return. External compression facilitates the return of excess interstitial fluids into the circulatory system, promotes fluid elimination and reduces lymphatic load, with a visible decrease in oedema.
  • Pressotherapy is not recommended for those with:
  • Cardiovascular problems, high blood pressure;
  • Skin problems (burns, dermatitis, wounds, malignant tumours, etc.);
  • severe circulation disorders;
  • Prostheses, severe malformations and implantable medical devices.
Also, it is not recommended during pregnancy and for persons under 18 years of age. It is essential to consult your doctor before approaching this therapy and to read the user manual of the device carefully.
When using a pressotherapy device at home, you can do the therapy while wearing the hygienic TNT protectors supplied with the device’s accessories. You can wear clothes made of organic fabric, as long as they are tight-fitting.
