Rotator cuff syndrome

A syndrome characterized by shoulder pain felt during the abduction movement of the arm, that is, when the limb moves away from the body by 90°. The rotator cuff is a group of muscles and tendons that form an anatomical structure designed to reinforce the shoulder joint. Injuries to the rotator cuff can have various causes, including tendonitis, intratendinous calcification, or tendon rupture.
